Malnutrition and the mortality rate of children under five are still severe issues in Nigeria.

Statistic numbers are clear: the probability of dying before age 5 is 120 per 1,000 live births in Nigeria. Only 3 in Japan.
Lagos does not make an exception. St Kizito Clinic runs two nutrition centres in Lagos, in Ilasan, Lekki and Idi-Araba, Mushin.

Children in critical conditions are monitored daily, provided with free medical care, feeding and psycho-social support. Our social workers follow this critical phase with the mothers, train them in basic hygienic, health and nutrition.

All our kids are followed also during their growth through monthly check-up meetings, where we entertain them with group activities while we verify their growth parameters and meet their mothers.

We care. Do you?
