Loving Gaze in cooperation with the Medical Women’s Association of Nigeria and Safe Hand Initiative celebrated the World Day of The Sick at St Kizito Clinic, Idi Araba. We conducted a medical outreach (HIV Screening, Provision of Essential Drugs, Anthropometric Measurement and Health Education) on how to keep safe during the COVID – 19 pandemic especially pregnant women, benefits of exclusive breastfeeding and the importance of vaccination. Loving Gaze also raised awareness on personal hygiene, the importance of hand washing amid the pandemic and correct brushing technique for children.
Our medical team provided free HIV Screening test as well as free medical check up for pregnant women in the Mushin community who are most vulnerable and financially disadvantaged.
More than 60 pregnant women from the community were screened, tested, and received multivitamins which will help them stay healthy and protect their babies.
